Layla is very much like most children her age in that she enjoys coloring, drawing, and painting. Most of the time she actually manages to keep in on the paper which makes Laryessa and I very happy. Layla displays great creativity in her wardrobe selection and her drawings. She has taken lately to the whiteboard that we have in the kitchen as her canvas and proceeds to produce a masterpiece on a nightly basis. Layla, unlike most great artists, does not like to work alone and will request both Mommy and Daddy's presence as she politely requests that we draw her pictures that she then "enhances" with her own flair. Layla is very loving and affectionate little girl. Laryessa and I are amazed by her on a daily basis as I am sure most parents are on their little ones. We tell each other what seems like on a daily basis how lucky and blessed we are to have a healthy and happy little girl.
